You pay DigitalOcean directly for the server. Pricing starts at ~$6/month for an entry-level droplet (1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM) and runs ~$24/month for the recommended production spec (2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM). Larger workloads scale up from there. The Kratys subscription (free during early access, $29/month at launch for early users) is separate and covers the deployment platform, security, monitoring, and all features.
